"RUSLOM.COM is the first Russian union of ferrous scrap processing companies that has a status of a self-regulated organization (SRO). Among the founders are: Severstal-Vtorchermet, Vtorchermet NLMK, UMC-EcoMetal, Vtormet Industrial Company, Oris Prom, TransLom (RZD), Promtechnoset, Ferrotek, IntersUnit, BaltExCom Trading House, Russky Metall Science Research and manufacturing association, Region Plus, HETEK (AVNTEK), ImpexTrade, Shrot, Dalchermet, STEP metal and others. Key dates of the new organization: 18 February 2012, Moscow, Russia: At Rusmet’s forum “Ferrous and Non-ferrous scrap metals 2012” it was announced that in 2012 the first Russian self-regulated organization in scrap metals market would be registered; 26 April 2012, Ekaterinburg, Russia: A decision about foundation of the self-regulated organization was made; 18 June 2012, Moscow, Russia: State registration in The Ministry of Justice of Russia and The Federal Tax Service of Russia; 26 September 2012, Moscow, Russia: Inclusion in the State list of self-regulated organizations of Russia. The organization is open for new members.
