Chepetsky Mechanical Plant, JSC, founded in December, 19, 1946, is a part of the Fuel Company TVEL structure of Rosatom Government Corporation - the Russian Manufacturer of the nuclear fuel and the equipment for Nuclear Power Stations. The Plant is the largest manufacturer of products from Zirconium and its alloys in the world and the single manufacturer of those in Russia; it occupies the leading positions in metal Calcium and metal Calcium-based alloys production, as well as the production of the natural and depleted uranium. Besides, the high-purity metal Niobium, Zirconium dioxide and Zirconium dioxide-based technical ceramics, rare -earth metals oxides and carbonates production is carried out. The manufacture of the electrolytic Hafnium and low-temperature superconducting materials, and the titanium and stainless steel rolled products is implemented.
